Death Road to Canada Release Postponed After Toronto Tragedy 1

The release of Indie RPG Death Road to Canada has been delayed until further notice.

Following the recent tragedy in Toronto where a van struck civilians, killing and injuring numerous people, developer Rocketcat Games and publisher Ukiyo Publishing have announced that their most recent title will be delayed until a later date.

“We feel it would be deeply inappropriate to launch the game at such a time,” said Paul Hann, Managing Director of Ukiyo Publishing. “We would like to express our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the tragic events in Toronto.”

Originally released on Steam and mobile devices in 2016, Death Road to Canada is a randomly generated RPG where players must journey to Canada while surviving hordes of attacking zombies. Death Road to Canada was originally planned to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 25 before the recent attack took place.

Ukiyo Publishing is currently working to reschedule the release of Death Road to Canada and will announce a new release date sometime in the future.
