Nintendo eShop gets Slew of New Indie Games 1

The Nintendo eShop is bringing over 20 new indie games in its latest eShop update.

In the latest eShop update, there are two critically acclaimed indie games that will be making the list. These are Crypt of the Necrodancer: Switch Edition which is available for $19.99 USD and SteamWorld Dig, which is available for $9.99 USD. Both of these games are available for purchase today.

Crypt of the Necrodancer mixes rhythm, dungeon exploring and combat to deliver a unique gaming experience. Players must move to the beat in order to gain the upper hand on the monsters that are waiting for you in the dungeon. Crypt of the Necrodancer was originally released back in 2015 and is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Windows, iOS and Linux.

SteamWorld Dig puts players in the shoes of a robot miner who takes over his families mine to dig for precious ores. Armed with a pick, the player delves deeper into the earth to collect even more valuable resources. After the player gathers enough ore, they are able to purchase upgrades to their digging equipment on the surface. SteamWorld Dig was originally published by Image & Form back in 2013. The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Xbox One.
