Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that Lord of the Rings Online, the free-to-play MMORPG, will receive a new expansion on November 18th.
Titled Helm’s Deep, this is the fifth expansion for the game, which was launched way back in 2007.
LOTRO’s last expansion, Riders of Rohan, was released only a year ago. It increased the level cap to 85, and added 6 new areas.
If you are looking to pick up the title, LOTRO’s premium edition is $60 at retail, but for those just wanting to try the game out first, it adopted its free-to-play model back in 2010.
