Here are all the big announcements Microsoft unveiled during their X018 conference in Mexico City, earlier today.

The biggest announcement out of the event came in the form of Microsoft acquiring the independent game studio, Obsidian Entertainment, the studio responsible for titles such as Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity. This news comes shortly after Microsoft announced that they would be ramping up their roster of studios during e3 2018. It will be interesting to see what shape Obsidian’s upcoming projects take, now that they are under Microsoft’s wing.

inXile Entertainment, the studio behind titles such as Wasteland 2 has also been acquired by Microsoft. The announcement of the acquisition came from the head of Microsoft Studio’s, Matt Booty. The company was originally founded in 2002 by Brian Fargo, the creator behind The Bard’s Tale series of video games.

Fans of Fortnite and Warframe were in for a treat, especially those accustomed to playing on PC, as Microsoft announced a release date for their big keyboard and mouse update for Xbox One, which Microsoft  promises will launch next week, starting with support for both Fortnite and Warframe.

X018 also highlighted several new games coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service, including PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Ori and the Blind Forest, in addition to some nice discounts for the upcoming holiday season.

Xbox players looking to play some new legacy Xbox 360 titles can look forward to games like Final Fantasy XIII, XIII-2 and Lightning Returns, all getting Xbox One X enhancements. Finally, Microsoft took the time to drop several new trailers for the upcoming AAA games, including the likes of Devil May Cry 5, Kingdom Hearts III, Battlefield V, Just Cause 4, DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and even debut gameplay for Crackdown 3’s multiplayer mode.
