Bringing back the old Valve meme.

Gabe Newell Can’t Count To Three In New Dota 2 Announcer Pack 1

The Gabe Newell Mega-Kills Announcer for Dota 2 has been revealed, and hilarity ensues as he struggles to count to three.

In the reveal video, two sound designers asked Gabe to voice some lines, saying that it would only take about half an hour. The team tried to make Gabe amp up his voice acting, telling him to sound more excited whenever announcing a kill.

The process dragged on well over 30 minutes, and the sound designers got tired and desperate after hearing Gabe’s attempts. When they asked him to announce a triple kill, Gabe’s reply was hilarious and referred to the joke of how Valve can’t count to three.

“You’ve killed more than two people and less than four,” Gabe said with a dead-serious expression.

At the end of the video, the sound designers decided to use the material anyway.

The Gabe Newell Mega-Kills Announcer will be available for all Dota 2 Battle Pass holders.
