The second of week challenges is now live for Season 5 of Fortnite — thankfully, none of the new challenges this week requires anything too crazy, instead, most of them focus on simply just playing the game.
Some standout challenges include having to earn 1,000 damage points using the assault rifle class of weapons, meaning players will have to change their means of play and focus on using a single type of gun, nothing too challenging but nevertheless, worth noticing. Luckily, this challenge also compliments another: finding 7 ammo crates in a single game, which might seem excessive, but being forced to use one type of weapon will require the extra ammo regardless.
Other standout challenges include scoring 5 hoops in the newly erected basketball court, finding some chests in the Loot Lake area and finally, nabbing a few sniper kill eliminations. The full list of challenges can be read down below:
- Deal damage with assault rifles to opponents (1,000 damage)
- Search seven ammo boxes in a single match (7)
- Eliminate opponents in Paradise Palms (Hard; 3)
- Score a basket on different hoops (5)
- Search chests in Loot Lake (7)
- Search between an oasis, rock archway, and dinosaurs (Hard; 1)
- Sniper rifle eliminations (Hard; 2)
It should also be noted, all challenges deemed as Hard will net players 10 Battle Stars, double the standard, a nice bonus for those wanting to grind out some of new cosmetic unlockables for this season.
