EA Announces new Star Wars Game and new Battlefront 2 Content

During the EA press conference EA stepped into the audience for a quick discussion with Call of Duty and Titanfall developer Vince Zampella. The interview was an awkward chance for the team at EA to announce a brand new Star Wars game that they are calling Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
Zampella was not willing to drop many details about the game at this point, but said the game takes place during the dark times, when the Jedi were being hunted. Specifically, the game is set to take place between Episodes III and IV of the franchise, and it will release during the holiday period of 2019.

EA also took time to make a few announcements regarding the current Star Wars game, Battlefront 2. The company revealed that after the current Han Solo content is finished, Star Wars Battlefront 2 will focus more on the Clone Wars era of the Star Wars universe. A new major map will also be released that is based on the bug planet of Geonosis. Players can expect characters of that era to be added to the roster of stars in the game. From the dark side General Grievous and Count Dooku will be added, and fighting for the light will be everyone’s favourite Obi-Wan Kenobi and a pre-high-ground Anakin Skywalker.
