Razer breaks records today as it has just launched the world’s smallest gaming laptop. The Razer Blade has a 15.6-inch edge-to-edge compact design and packs a powerful punch with its capabilities.
Built for mega-tasking and the ability to handle intense gaming, entertainment, and even allows users to create digital projects to their heart’s content, the laptop is a new arsenal for the gamer lifestyle. It’s anti-ghosting keyboard powered by Razer Chroma only highlights this, as it gives users 16.8 million colours per key and is customizable through Razer Synapse 3 software.
More customizations can be made with the power management options, as it has modes to boost graphics performance and even maximize the run time of the built-in battery. As for sound, it is delivered through dual front-firing speakers and uses Dolby Atmos for the premium, immersive audio experience.
Gamers taking their new Razer Blade on-the-go, Razer has also released a new 15.6-inch Protective Sleeve that is water resistant and durable.
“We upgraded to Intel’s latest 6 core processor, used a fast 144Hz display driven by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics, and set a new standard for power in the world’s smallest 15-inch gaming laptop,” said Min-Liang Tan, the CEO and co-founder of Razer. “We are proud to have again stepped-up as an industry leader, taking laptop engineering to the next level to give gamers the performance they require and the mobility they desire.”
For a limited time, the laptop also boasts access to $420 worth of games and software. This includes popular games like Cuphead, VR games such as Arizona Sunshine, and even a professional music production suite.
Razer also unveiled the new Razer Core X today, which transforms integrated graphics laptops into desktop-class gaming machines with an external graphics card. Gamers can unlock their full potential, especially so with the Thunderbolt 3 external graphics enclosure, which eliminates lengthy reboots and yields fast connection speeds.
The plug-and-play eGPU is versatile and compatible not only with Razer Blade laptops, but also other systems running on Windows and even the macOS. In addition, the design of its aluminium enclosure helps in dispensing heat for the most intense gaming sessions.
While the new Razer Blade starts at $1,899, the Razer Core is $299 USD, and both are now available for purchase.
