Microsoft have announced that all games it pushes will now be Xbox Play Anywhere titles.
With an announcement on the Windows Blog, Corporate VP Yusuf Mehdi explained that “every new title published from Microsoft Studios will support Xbox Play Anywhere and will be easily accessible in the Windows Store.”
Xbox Play Anywhere was first unveiled at E3 2016. It is a program what will ensure any game you purchase with Play Anywhere will work on Windows 10 along with the Xbox One. This means a single purchase will give players access to both platforms, with saves and achievements transferred between both versions.
ReCore is currently the first slated Play Anywhere title, launching September 13, with Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and Cuphead also joining the Play Anywhere library later.
