The epilogue to the War of the Green Lanterns will make it to shelves later this summer.
Today, DC Comics announced War of the Green Lanterns: Aftermath, a two-part epilogue to the War of the Green Lanterns storyline. The War of the Green Lanterns is currently unfolding across all three major Green Lantern books and pits the various members of the Green Lantern Corps against one another after years of keeping the universe safe from those who would do it harm.
“The War of the Green Lanterns will forever change the lives of Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner in ways that nobody could predict,” said DC on its The Source blog.
The miniseries will examine the consequences of the war for the Corps and some of its key members. Aftermath will be written by Tony Bedard and illustrated by Miguel Sepulveda. We don’t yet know much about the title, but if the blood-stained ring on the book’s cover is any indication, one of the four earthbound Green Lanterns might not be making it out of the war alive.
War of the Green Lanterns: Aftermath #1 will hit store shelves sometime in July.
